Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
