Rebar worker — DeKalb County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in DeKalb County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling The role involves: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
