Escalator technician • Lampasas County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Lampasas County, Texas. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Your main tasks: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
