We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska. The job is in a bread factory. What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to work early-morning and night shifts You will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter.
