System scaffolder — Alleghany County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Alleghany County, Virginia. Requirements: • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Day-to-day duties: • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits.
