Vacancy available: gantry crane operator (Nebraska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Loup County, Nebraska. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
