We are recruiting: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Oakland County, Michigan. The job is in a spray booth. Day-to-day duties: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels You should have: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Meals and transport allowance provided.
