Ladle pourer wanted in St. Helens

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in St. Helens, England. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling You will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Pay around £2,650 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
