Join our team: we are hiring a wood machinist in Jackson County, Alabama. The role involves plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. What we are looking for: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
