Industrial sewing operator — Juneau City and Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. On a typical shift you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Six days a week, one day off.
