Reinforcement steel fixer • Chautauqua County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Chautauqua County, Kansas. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. The role involves: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 2+ years on the tools preferred.
