Safety inspector — Union County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Union County, South Dakota. You will work at an oil and gas facility. The role involves: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions 5+ years on the tools preferred.
