Fire and safety officer wanted in City of Buena Vista

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
