Argon welder — Lake County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Lake County, Montana. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day to day you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
