Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Columbia County, Arkansas. The job is at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Your main tasks: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
