Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. The job is at an accident repair centre. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Good eye for colour matching and blending • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Day to day you will mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair.
