Flatlock machine operator • Butler County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Butler County, Nebraska. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
