Great opportunity: aluminium tig welder (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Yates County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Performance bonus on top of base pay.
