Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Kankakee County, Illinois. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
