Now hiring: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Augusta County, Virginia. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. You should have: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Day-to-day duties: • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays 3+ years on the tools preferred. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
