Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Columbia County, Arkansas. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
