Great opportunity: moulder (Edo)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Ovia South-West, Edo. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 1+ years on the tools preferred.
