We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Kanawha County, West Virginia. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot You will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
