Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Carter County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Carter County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Meals and transport allowance provided.
