Hydraulic press operator — Montrose County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Montrose County, Colorado. The role involves: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
