Now hiring: lorry driver (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lorry driver in Derby, England. You will be based at a busy distribution depot. The role involves: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £3,150 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
