Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Marshall County, West Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
