Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. On a typical shift you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
