Core maker — Henry County

Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Henry County, Ohio. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Rotating shifts.
