Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Garrard County, Kentucky. Day to day you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
