Vertical transportation technician • Marion County, Florida

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Marion County, Florida. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On a typical shift you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Full-time, day shift.
