We are recruiting: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in James City County, Virginia. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
