Gas meter installer — Montezuma County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Montezuma County, Colorado. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. On the job you will handle: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites 5+ years on the tools preferred. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
