Vacancy available: steel fixer (California)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Calaveras County, California. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Part-time with flexible hours.
