Machine setter-operator • Story County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Story County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
