Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Carlisle County, Kentucky. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; give each garment a final press before packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
