Join our team: we are hiring an escalator technician in Hodgeman County, Kansas. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Meals and transport allowance provided.
