Brick mason — Carmarthenshire

Join our team: we are hiring a brick mason in Carmarthenshire, Wales. The role involves building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 5+ years on the tools preferred. £2,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
