Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Ekiti East, Ekiti State. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium ₦225,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
