Excavator operator — Pendleton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Pendleton County, Kentucky. You will be based in an open-cast mine. You will operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. Ideal candidate: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
