Trowel-trade bricklayer — Quitman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Quitman County, Mississippi. You will work on a new-build development. On a typical shift you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
