Bar waiter — Shetland Islands

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar waiter in Shetland Islands, Scotland. What we are looking for: • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages On a typical shift you will explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place; carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table; check back during the meal and handle special requests. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. £13 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
