Line assembler — Borough of Thurrock

Join our team: we are hiring a line assembler in Borough of Thurrock, England. The job is in a packaging and assembly workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor • Apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position • Clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard • Wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S • Good hand-eye coordination and steady fingers for small parts • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage Full-time, day shift.
