We are recruiting: safety officer (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Dawson County, Georgia. You will work in a chemical processing unit. The role involves: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
