Your main tasks: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Part-time with flexible hours.
