Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Albemarle County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
