Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Part-time with flexible hours.
