We are recruiting: we are hiring a sausage maker in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Day-to-day duties: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Season and marinate meat on request • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
