System formwork carpenter — Lafayette County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Lafayette County, Arkansas. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing The role involves cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured.
