Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Highlands County, Florida. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Day to day you will cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout.
